end of attacks this both new york city and seaside park, new jersey, now another threat, this one in elizabeth, new jersey. what investigators say happened just hours after a suspicious package was found in the local train station. lets get to jennifer joyce live in elizabeth the with the latest developments, hi jenny. >> reporter: good morning. we are half block from that elizabeth train station, live look here, police this have area surround add cross several block radius. the this is where they are having a media set up as local police and fbi investigators look into a suspicious package which actually proved to be an explosive according to elizabeth mayor, who says that the device exploded as a bomb squad robot attempted to disarm the materials. that happened around 12:30 this morning. authorities were first called to this this scene around 8:30 last night, two men called police after finding a suspicious package with wires and a pipe sticking out.

and nypd conduct a traffic stop on the versace an owe bridge that links the bureau to staten island and brooklyn. five people with possible connections to the chelsea blast were taken in custody. on saturday night a bomb exploded near 23rd street. all 29 people were hurt are out of the hospital. new york's governor cuomo says he is certain that the bombing was intentional. >> whoever placed these bombs, we will find and they will be brought the to justice. period. you have the finest police agencies in the world when you come to new york and we will find who planted these explosives, and they will be prosecuted and punished. >> new york city police say they have blown up second device found blocks away where a bomb exploded from manhattan. 4:14 this morning. we're following breaking news one of five devices found in a backpack in a train station in elizabeth, new jersey has exploded while a bomb squad robot was attempting to disarm it. we are taking a live look at pictures from that scene. list bet mayor christian says a device exploded earlier this morning. fbi has been leading that investigation and working to disarm other four devices. there were no reports of injuries. the mayor says there could be more detonations.

of course that means there could be traffic trouble in that area lets go to bob kelly for more on that, hi there, bob. >> good morning, everybody. 4:15. this is a new situation that happened just late last night so, you know, it the is surprise ago this we're dealing with this, this morning here. we heard of so many explosions over the course of the weekend. here's the deal for mass transit, this morning. services suspended on amtrak's northeast corridor, all trains, through elizabeth right now, there is no service on both amtrak or new jersey transit. so elizabeth is right here just south of the newark airport between newark and metro park so services between boston, new york, and philadelphia, basically, at a choke point right there, no trains are rolling, through elizabeth, new jersey. now, i came through, 30th street station and saw trains lined up here in philadelphia last night amtrak said they were backing trains up to the closest station, when the

incident happened in order to get the passengers off the train safely. so that has been accomplished, everybody is off the trains, but we remains to be seen exactly how things will shape up for morning rush hour whether amtrak will run trains, up to say, new brunswick and then work your way, back, for new jersey transit, services suspended across the board on the entire northeast corridor. they are having tickets cross honored by path, new jersey transit buses, and some private carriers. so mass transit this morning is going to be a rough go as we can start to see, maybe some sprinkles on the blue route, here's a live look you can see a little bit of the glare on the road surface, sueby and you had mentioned some showers starting to pop in reading. they are getting closer and closer to us. >> it is true, it is going to be a big difference to the tranquility for the weather that we have right now, but we can see lightening popping up, as part of the cold front that is headaching its way through

tragically wounding and losing her life we are at penn presbyterian hospital where hopefully now the healing and grieving process can begin. nicholas glenn clearly troubled leaving a rambling note expressing his anger towards authorities before going on a shooting rampage. one family is grieving loss of the loved one but amazingly with 51 shots fired to take we are hearing stories of recovery. yesterday one of the two officers shot, u penn officer eddie miller. he went home quietly with little fanfare. philadelphia sergeant sylvia young is actually expect to be released to day showing amazing strength and resolve. sergeant young going home so soon is being called a miracle by fellow officers, you'll remember she was shot at 18 times at close range, hit multiple times in the arm in her row techtive vest and even hearing that isn't as chilling as listening to the actual 911 calls. >> this is the united states of america. this should not happen in this

already moving through our area services suspended on amtrak's northeast corridor. here's the situation. all trains through that elizabeth new jersey station are a no go with that police activity. elizabeth is just south of the newark, airport and big newark international train station here. so, with that choke point there, there are trains, south of newark, there are trains north of up to new york and boston no trains are moving through elizabeth at least for the beginning of our morning rush hour. amtrak doesn't have anything as far as services suspended on their web site. as far as new jersey transit, services suspended on the entire northeast corridor they are at least saying until further notice and they will go one step further which means that it will be suspended through the rush hour is that tickets are being cross honored, by the path, new jersey buses, and some of the private carriers. so the new jersey bus commuters expect some crowded conditions there. then also, folks that need to
